My speech 2016

       If you were a superhero what

           Powers would you have ?

                       

Imagine if you were a superhero. What powers would you have out of these elements? Nature, Ice, Electricity or fire.  By the the way my name is Leila and I will be talking to you about what powers you could have if you were a superhero, so let's get started.     

The first element is Nature. If you had nature powers  you could make magical stones that can lift you up when you're falling off a cliff. Very handy as superhero are pushed off many things.

The second element is ice. You could turn people to ice and they would never ever unfreeze again. This is best used when someone is about to blast your head off!

The third element is electricity. You could make it rain and also could make things get electrocuted. This is very useful when you are fighting monsters.

And the last element is fire and you can turn people into lava, set buildings on fire and stop just about anything. Another handy power.

So which one would you choose? Nature, Ice, Electricity or fire. I would choose nature because it's definitely the best power.

Olympic Writing

As you know, the Olympic Games have started over in Rio.  We will use this great festival of sport for our prompt this week.

• What might be going to happen? SOMEONE WILL WIN
• How do you feel? EXCITED AND HAPPY

I could see the finish line, then someone said ON YOUR MARKS. GET SET .GO, and then I ran as fast as I could. There was only 200 meters.  I thought that there  was not much time left to reach the front of the runner then my ears really started to hurt because people were calling my name LEILA, LEILA, LEILA.  When there was only 100 metres to go I had to go faster because someone else was in the lead. I just said to myself Leila, you can do this and with only 5 more seconds to go I out in more effort and I went past the finish line. I could believe that I actually won. I was so proud of myself, yay. Then I got given a beautiful golden medal, yay .
